What is Terminality

Terminality is a cross-platform infrastructure client for terminal, files, remote desktop, and AI-assisted operations.

The pitch

Connect to local shells and remote machines through SSH, SFTP, FTP, or RDP. Terminality organizes access around Hosts and Connections, then opens each live Session in a tab or pane.

What it is

  • A cross-platform client for macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android.
  • A structured connection client for local shells, tmux, SSH, SFTP, FTP, and RDP.
  • A lightweight daily tool designed to stay responsive through long-running connections.
  • A consistent multi-device experience with cloud-synced preferences and connection settings.
  • An AI-native tool that lets approved agents read terminal output, send input, and operate visible panes.

What it is not

  • Not a terminal emulator limited to local shells.
  • Not a connection relay: your terminal, file, and remote-desktop traffic goes directly to its destination.
  • Not a reason to configure every device again. Sync keeps selected preferences and connection settings consistent.
